I don’t even know how to explain how much I love being Nino’s mom, how much I appreciate his grandmas (my Mami, and Mike’s mom), and just how special this ride as a mother has been thus far. I recently started to read @davestruestories book and one thing that is constant in his story is his relationship with his mom. I read his words describing his mom/best friend and it lights me up with joy and fills me up with love and tears. He closes out the first chapter with the final words he wrote for his own mother’s book, and they are truly the sweetest most beautiful words. “ But, beyond any biological information, there is love. Something that defies all science and reason. And that I am most fortunate to have been given. It’s maybe the most defining factor in anyone’s life. Surely an artist’s greatest muse. And there is no love like a mother’s love. It is life’s greatest song. We are all indebted to the women who have given us life. For without them, there would be no music.” 🥲🥲🥲💕💕💕 HAPPY MOTHERS DAY 💫

Saw this sign in DC at the first women’s march back in 2017. This just sums up everything in the simplest explanation possible. I have refrained from being too loud on social media about serious things for the last few months because I think I can support the causes I believe in off the internet AND IN REAL ACTUAL LIFE and have less toxicities in my life.
